Meetup #8 - Nyskopunarmidstod Islands/EEN + Medizza MediaCenter

Extra short notice this month.. but hey, we all reserve the first Thursday of every month for IGI anyway, right? : )

We are back at Balthazar now and start off with a brief introduction from Nýsköpunarmiðstöð Íslands and Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) about their Technology Transfer Services. They are about to go on a Company Mission linking up Icelandic and UK Gaming Industry companies and want to give us a brief intro to what they're up to and how it can benefit us / how we can make use of their (free) services.

After that we have Þorsteinn from Medizza as the main feature of the meet-up.

Thorsteinn will introduce the development and concept of the Medizza MediaCenter.

For the last couple of years, Medizza has been developing an new kind of home entertainment box. In this session, Thorsteinn will go over the technical specification of the box and the potential of a TV set top box as a gaming platform.


The standard obligatory networking and chit-chat keeps its place as well of course ;)
